About the Taco Bell Foundation:

The Taco Bell Foundation breaks down barriers to educate and inspire the next generation of America's leaders. We invest in America's youth, ages 16-26, and help them pursue their educational goals and career aspirations - no matter what their unique passion. We do this through our Community Grants program, strategic partnerships, and our signature programs - Live Mas Scholarship and Ambition Accelerator. Since 1992, the Foundation has reached more than 5 million young people across the country and has awarded more than $155 million in grants and scholarships, focused on education, mentorship, and career readiness.

About the Job:

The Taco Bell Foundation Associate Manager of Programs oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of our signature educational programming including concepting, planning, staffing, leading, and directing program activities. This role is responsible for executing the Live Mas Scholarship and Ambition Accelerator programs.  This position requires a collaborative individual with strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, who is passionate about affecting positive change, and taking on challenging opportunities.

Position is Full-Time; Some travel required.

The Day-to-Day:

The Associate Manager of Programs performs a wide range of duties including some or all the following:

Develop High-Impact Programming

  • Concepting & creating impactful programming based on current Foundation needs and efforts in the higher-education, scholarship, social entrepreneurship and mentorship space.
  • Oversee overall program delivery for the Live Mas Scholarship and Ambition Accelerator, along with associated activities.
  • Create and implement strategies and long-term goals to achieve the successful outcome of the programs.
  • Develop a long-term strategy for the Foundation's programming to increase the impact of the Live Mas Scholarship and Ambition Accelerator and to position the Taco Bell Foundation as a thought leader in post-secondary education.
  • Develop and manage an annual budget and operating plan to support the programs.
  • Support the Foundation's Impact Research Analyst on creating a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the programs, to identify areas for improvement, and share the story of our impact.
  • Draw upon personal/professional network of individuals and organizations; and knowledge of trends, industries, etc. to add value to programs and facilitate partnerships.

Other

  • Manage direct reports on the team.
  • In consultation with leadership, recruit, interview and select well-qualified program staff, consultants and/or agencies as needed to execute programming.
  • Ability to understand, engage and advise young people ages 16 - 24
  • Engage volunteers for appropriate program activities as needed.

Required Experience

  • BA or BS degree with advanced degree preferred (MBA, Masters in Education, Non-Profit Management, Strategy, etc.)
  • 4-6 years of experience developing education-focused or youth-focused programming for philanthropies, non-profits, schools, or other educational institutions
  • Experience managing direct reports/team.

Salary Range: $103,500 to $117,600 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
