This position is Limited Term 12 months and may be extended up to 24 months or become Permanent in the future.
The Mobile Source Control Division is looking for an energetic, dedicated, and collaborative individual to join our team. Under direction of the Division Chief and Assistant Division Chief, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst coordinates and manages activities related to Division activities up to and including Training for the Division by independently consolidating division training needs each year for ASDs training unit, coordinating with staff and division management on the Learning management System issues and training questions and needs, coordinating with ASDs training unit, and tracking mandatory manager biennial training hours, create and maintain guidance and process documents for division staff reference, processing and managing translation services for the Division by independently analyzing the translation needs for the Division and processing the requests through the EEO and ASD to manage and track the services required by the Division, processing and managing travel and travel requests for the Division including requests for out of State travel and international travel requests which require tracking and preparing of documents as well as accounting of costs of all travel, tracking and managing annual forms for the Division which involves coordination with other support staff to track, collect and process all annual forms by deadlines and storing files, and development of internal policies and program processes for the Division along with other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions
The positions at the CARB may be eligible for telework with in-person attendance based on the operational needs of the position under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program need. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of hybrid telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the position’s designated headquarters location at their own expense, as indicated on their duty statement.
