About the Position:
Will Consider Staff Services Analyst.
Under the general direction of the Branch Chief, a Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), of the PM Support & Monitor Branch in the Planning and Modal Program (PMP), Program Management Division (PM²), the incumbent will work independently on the highest level program and project performance management activities with project managers both in HQ and the Districts in the Division of Transportation Planning (DOTP), Local Assistance (DLA), Research, Innovation & System Information (DRISI), Planning & Modal Program Management (PM2), and Equity, Sustainability and Tribal Affairs (ESTA) to ensure projects are managed correctly, using standard Organizational Project Management (OPM) principles and processes. The incumbent is responsible for engaging with Project Manager (PMs) to be able to gather, verify, analyze core key performance indicators (KPI) for the division's goals and objectives related to strategic plans, program delivery, and portfolio/project status. The incumbent is also responsible for leading the development and distribution of program, project status reports, and dashboards for the Planning and Modal Program Director, the each Divisional executive team, and other stakeholders statewide. Dashboards and reports include summaries of findings (data), customized to the different stakeholders/levels, lessons learned, and recommended actions to mitigate or minimize identified risks or issues. The incumbent must be able to think globally, have great attention to detail, high technical aptitude (excellent proficiency in spreadsheet applications is required), excellent communication skills, and working knowledge of standard project management principles (defined in PMBOK).
