General Function:
We have an opening in the Information Technology Department for an Endpoint Systems Administrator to be based out of the HST (Helpful Smiles Technology) office. The systems operations team is responsible for the IT server and computer system infrastructure across the enterprise including Hy-Vee's retail, corporate, subsidiary, distribution, and manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will excel at obtaining results in a fast-paced environment, have excellent problem solving and communication skills, and can connect technology to real-world business challenges.
Responsibilities

• Maintains both the On-Prem and Hosted versions of Microsoft Exchange and M365 suite of products
• Will be responsible for managing the M365 migration project
• Managing Tickets daily for incident response and requests
• Maintains base system image testing and deployment using MECM and Workspace One
• Encourages automation by leveraging PowerShell and or other scripting languages.
• Maintains MDM platforms using Workspace One, JAMF, and Intune.
• On-going vulnerability operational support including operating systems releases, upgrades, service pack installations, security updates, and any system change activities
• Creates and maintains technical documentation stored within the team's knowledge base.
• Perform patching, updating, testing, and deploying of system firmware and software.
• Performance Tuning on low-risk platform and systems

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft Exchange Servers (Both on-prem and in Azure)
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 suite (Azure, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
• Experience administrating MDM platforms such as Workspace One (Air Watch), JAMF, Patch My PC and Intune.
• Experience administering Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android OS
• Basic understanding and administration of Microsoft MECM (formally SCCM)
• Basic understanding of SFTP administration
• Basic understanding of IoT devices, weight scales, and printers
• Basic understanding of automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or other scripting languages are desired.
• Basic understanding of the network stack.
• Basic understanding of monitoring and alerting tools such as Nagios and Splunk.
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude and the ability to work independently or in a group setting
• Retail domain experience is good to have, VMware and Hyper-V experience would be ideal.

Experience and Education
A degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field from an accredited university and/or 3 to 5 years equivalent work experience is preferred.

• Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
• Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: operating a computer, occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.
• Must be able to perform the following physical activities: meeting with customers, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions
The duties for this position are performed in a general or remote office setting. There is weekly pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a day.
