Systems Administrator

Job Description

BITCO Corporation is currently seeking a Systems Administrator  to join our Home Office team in Davenport, IA.  BITCO provides quality insurance services to special industries including construction, forest products, and oil & gas. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

 

Position Summary:

As part of the IT Operations team, this position, installs, configures, maintains, and repairs servers, systems, and subsystems.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain computer systems to ensure effective and efficiently running of BITCO business operations
• Plans and coordinates maintenance, repairs and changes in accordance with change management policies and communicates expected changes clearly to the Company
• Administration of systems and server subsystems to ensure availability of services to authorized users
• Determines performance requirements to monitor and test service and server systems performance regularly
• Documents server systems design and configuration
• Supports Office 365/Exchange Environment
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience. Degrees in computer science or computer engineering preferred
• Minimum 3 years' of experience with the following:
  • Managing Active Directory including implementation of GPOs to support the implementation settings on file and print services, DNS, Domain Controllers and application servers
  • Working with PAM, End Point Management, IAM System and disk encryption tools
  • Utilizing PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform, Python
  • Managing Content Management Systems
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Monitoring and Analytics tools
  • Virtual Infrastructure
• Demonstrated knowledge and applied understanding with the following:
  • Windows systems administration
  • Systems and Infrastructure Security
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
