Homesteaders is seeking a System Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and a broad range of technical skills to support the business needs. As a Generalist System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing IIS web servers, being the point of contact for developer teams for existing and new webapps, collaborating with team members both in operations and across the organization to enable business processes, assisting with AD and EntraID, and assisting with O365 / Azure. You will also participate in weekly on-call rotations (1 out of 7 weeks) and server updates (1 month out of 7), and work on trouble tickets as assigned.
Requirements:Preferred Qualifications and critical success factors:
· Bachelor’s degree with two plus years experience in information services preferred or equivalent professional experience.
· Demonstrated proficiency in assessing problems, developing solution options, and implementing those solutions.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen effectively to customer concerns, ask appropriate questions, and provide prompt follow through.
· Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new things as technology changes.
