Assistant Project Manager
Location: Holliston, MA
Job Summary: The Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager on assigned projects. The position assists in the management of the overall project direction, budget, and completion. The Assistant Project Manager works under the Project Manager's direct supervision. Assist in management and/or coordination of Company personnel and resources.
Responsibilities:
- Develops project goals, milestones, schedule, and presents to senior management.
- Manages and allocates resource logistics.
- Meets with subcontractors on a regular basis to discuss financials and project schedules.
- Creates status reports and tracks project financials.
- Manages and obtains project permits, licenses, and ensures code regulations.
- Identifies, tracks, and resolves risks.
- Writes purchase orders and work orders for vendors and others.
- Collaborates with clients, architects, engineers, building/code officials, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Responsible for identifying and managing issues involving material delivery, contract administration, and labor disputes.
- Promotes and ensures the safety and welfare of all subcontractors and laborers on site.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred
- 2- 5 Years project management experience
- Construction & project management background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong software skills including MS Office, scheduling and estimating software
- Blue Beam Software experience a plus
- MA Valid driver's license
Salary Description
$60,000 - $75,000
