Under the general guidance of the Associate Director of Human Resource, the Assistant Director of Human Resource Information Systems ( HRIS) and Talent Development oversees and manages all information systems pertaining to human resource functions and Talent Development activities. The position is responsible for managing and overseeing the Human Resource Information Systems ( HRIS) for LSUHSC-NO, to include but not be limited to, PeopleSoft, PeopleAdmin, Hire Right, FMLA ( TASC) and ER case management software. This position will work closely with members of the IT team, PeopleSoft Development and Support teams, and a variety of data vendors such as Louisiana State Civil Service, PeopleAdmin, NEOGov, Office of Group Benefits, vendor systems and the like to ensure that HR data is captured accurately, integrity is maintained and reports are effectively communicated to different university factions. This position will function as the primary contact for providing data for short-term and long-term planning and projects. This position will be responsible for effective performance management systems for classified staff, unclassified staff and faculty. The position will work collaboratively with HR leadership and stakeholder leadership to streamline and integrate HR processes to provide quality service to our campus. This position works closely with HR Talent Acquisition and Operations regarding the Applicant Tracking System ( ATS) and PeopleSoft personnel transactions. 
The Assistant Director administers employee engagement, professional development and performance management programs campus-wide for classified, unclassified and faculty. This position oversees all activities, processes, procedures, policies and events that surround overall TALENT DEVELOPMENT on our campus to include, but not be limited to: New Employee Orientation, succession planning, employee engagement events, campus rewards and recognition program, learning experiences, leadership communications and HR campus liaison activities. The position will have a high degree of stakeholder interaction, relationship development with all levels of leadership from schools/divisions, and work closely with all HR internal units, VCAF departments, and Louisiana State Civil Service.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education Bachelor's If Other Required Education, please specify Discipline(s) Human Resources, Business, Information Technology or related field Certifications/Licenses Required Indicate the minimum number of years required to do the job Five years Indicate the type of experience required to do the job Human Resource experience to include at least 3 years in HRIS and/or Talent Development Indicate if any combination of specific experience, training and education may be substituted for the required education or experience
A Bachelor degree in a non-business related field requires three additional years of directly related HRIS
Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Education Master's If Other Preferred Education, please specify Discipline(s) Certifications/Licenses Preferred PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP, ATD-CPLP Indicate the preferred experience to perform the job 7 years of human resource management experience specific to HRIS
