POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an AI Team Lead to spearhead our newly created AI team. This pivotal role is designed for a visionary leader passionate about harnessing AI and ML technologies to revolutionize business strategies and operations. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of AI principles, combined with the leadership acumen to build and guide a dynamic team dedicated to implementing AI-driven solutions.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble and mentor a high-caliber AI solutions team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Develop and oversee a robust AI strategy and governance framework, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and ethical AI practices.
Lead the charge in developing and deploying cutting-edge AI and ML models to unlock new business insights and propel growth, while ensuring solutions are user-friendly and meet high performance benchmarks.
Spearhead research initiatives into emerging AI technologies, methodologies, and applications, translating complex ideas into viable business solutions.
Work closely with IT and business units to weave AI into the fabric of the organization, driving efficiency and innovation.
Articulate complex AI concepts and the value of AI initiatives in clear, compelling terms to stakeholders at all levels, guiding data-informed decision-making processes.
QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a solid grounding in AI and ML principles.
Proven track record in leading teams, particularly in a tech-driven environment, with the ability to inspire and elevate team members.
Demonstrated experience in the development, deployment, and management of AI and ML models, with a pragmatic understanding of leveraging in-house versus external technologies.
Hands-on experience with leading AI platforms (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, Azure AI), and adept at employing these technologies to solve business challenges.
Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical ideas in accessible terms and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED
Practical experience in customizing and deploying ML models to meet specific business objectives.
A forward-thinking approach to technology, committed to staying at the forefront of AI trends and applications.
Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple AI projects from conception through to successful implementation.
