Application Engineer with 3-5 years of experience building and supporting enterprise level software systems.
The position seeks a highly motivated, focused, and flexible individual committed to identifying, removing impediments from, and producing high quality Identity Management solutions within agreed upon timelines.
Activities include but are not limited to design and development, testing, implementation, operational support, and maintenance of assigned applications.
What are 3 must have / desired traits/experience that the Manager would most like to see?
1. Technical Skills: 2 years exp in Java Script, Web API, JSON, XML,and SQL. Some GIT and Java experience would be nice.
2. Problem solving.
3. Effective Communicator.
Additional notes:
Open to finding more junior candidates as long as they are sharp with Java, C#, and .NET
They won't be working all in .NET but there may be some weekly work within .NET
Intake call notes:
Utilitarian with respect to the task - team of 10 looking for an 11th and 12th
Responsible with helping to onboard additional applications and integrate additional applications (applications like meditech, cerner, etc.)
Team needs to do a tech refresh – or lift and shift from one application to another
Platform upgrades coming up in the future
Product is a portal to request access to over 1000+ applications – vendor products/applications
Onboarding a new application of the product
Think apple app store just not as big – provides one top shop for the access of the end users; but sometimes they are building out jurisdiction for the application
Onboarding application is building out the functionality of the application
.NET, ASP.NET (bonus), C#, JavaScript, SQL server backend; application written in java and front end is .NET; XML
Product uses beanshell scripting – but not a necessity to have
