Analog Power Design Engineer
Electrical Engineer
- As an electrical engineer for Undersea Systems, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing Undersea Communication Systems.
- Power systems / Module design.
- Power System architecture and grounding
- Transmission Line Effects in Power Systems
- Magnetics Design
- Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)
- Isolated Switching Converters
- Transmission Line Effects in power systems
- EMI test and control methods (MIL-STD-461, FCC / IDE / VDE)
- The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshooting
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Analog Power Design Engineer
- Master's Degree
- Experience should include multiple power topology design
- Experience from a few watts to KW+ converters.
- Circuit Design expertise
- Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components
- Magnetics Design and High-Speed Design experience
- Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
- Able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components
- Ahead of technology trends with Research and development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics
- Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success in leading design teams for complex projects
- Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
