Responsibilities:
- Requires a bachelors degree in electrical engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
- CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications:
- Power systems / Module design.Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW+ converters.
- Power System architecture and grounding
- Transmission Line Effects in power systems
- Magnetics Design
- What sets you apart:
- Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
- Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Circuit Design expertise
- Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)
- Power systems / Module design.Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW+ converters.
- Feedback / Control systems experience
- Power System architecture and grounding
- Isolated Switching Converters
- Transmission Line Effects in power systems
- EMI test and control methods (MIL-STD-461, FCC / IDE / VDE, etc.)
- Magnetics Design and High-Speed Design experience is desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components.
- The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshooting
- Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components
- Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics
- Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects.
- Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
- Ability to travel as needed.
