Responsibilities

POSITION: Alliance Market Manager

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Develop and manage assigned market in the US Government electronic high security space. As the assigned market demonstrates mature sales activity it may be transferred to a market sales manager and additional markets will be assigned for development. Responsible for developing Alliance Markets for Advantor to expand their products and services.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

This list is not in priority or chronological order, nor is it a complete list of all duties. Instead, it is meant to provide a guideline of the duties required for success in the position.

  • Develop and maintain a current market plan for new prospects and existing clients in the target markets. The initial target market is selling existing company products to existing corporate clients operations not currently engaged in security requirements.

  • Conduct customer site support visits and in field sales augmentation as necessary

  • Lead sales and proposal efforts (to effectively communicate customer/government requirements). Proposal efforts are similar to unsolicited proposal structure working with an solutions engineer

  • Submit weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner to include, at a minimum:

  • Sales Report/Customer visit report (summary of sales activity)

  • Prospect Data Report (pipeline report)

  • Submit updated sales forecasts (rolling 90 day)

  • Report on Customer Service key issues

  • Gather, analyze and report market intelligence on government funding, changes in structure and competitive activity to assist in establishing new markets.

  • Perform other duties in support of the Government Sales Program and systems sales as required.

    SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

    Desire this position be HQ located (Orlando) however candidate may be remote. Extensive travel including international is required, and the applicant must be eligible for DOD security clearance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales/marketing to U.S Government

  • Must possess knowledge of direct sales, marketing, budgeting and have strong program, people and development skills.

    OR

  • Minimum of 10 Years Federal Government leadership achieving O5 or O6 Military rank or civil service equivalent.

  • Desirable to have experience in Government or Military security or special operations experience.
