Job Description
As the Human Resources Coordinator you will support Residential Aquatics, LLC. by providing day-to-day support for the entire Poolman platform. The HR Coordinator will assist the HR team with orientation, exit interviews, separation letters, accident reporting, and unemployment claims. Become the go-to person for answering any questions about paid time off, benefits, etc., as well as provide administrative support to all HR employees. This is a hybrid position which will sit at our All Florida Pools location in Miami, FL.
Responsibilities
- Understand + adapt to constantly changing state + federal employment laws
- Facilitate orientation presentations twice per month as well as being the onsite HR entity for new employees.
- Build trust amongst employees, management + colleagues / actively protect confidential information
- Accurately answer employee questions related to Paid Time Off, Benefits, etc
- Responsible for HR overview during employee onboarding
- Become proficient in Workday as it pertains to hiring
- Complete I-9 tasks in Workday for all Residential Aquatics employees.
- Maintain inventory of employee welcome packets
- Manage birthday cards and anniversary cards for all Resi Aquatics employees.
- Take initial employee relation complaints.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned; including, but not limited to, administrative functions, special projects, etc.
- Send out and follow up on new employee surveys.
- Benefit enrollment tracker for all of Residential Aquatics.
- Complete all new hire IT onboarding tickets and IT exit tickets.
- Explains and distributes FMLA/ADA paperwork to employees.
- Payroll liaison - child support orders, promissory notes, employee pay issues, termination pay
- High volume recruiting during the busy season for Residential Aquatics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as HR coordinator at least 1 year of experience in this role.
- Knowledge of human resources operations and best practices
- Hands on experience in using MS Office, Google Docs, databases and HRIS systems
- Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and time management skills
- Team player and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree - Required
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish is Required
