Advanced Training and Operations Complex (ATOC) Manager
Type: Full-time
Location: Fort Benning, GA
Position is contingent upon contract being awarded.
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of Advanced Training and Operations Complex (ATOC) Manager at Ft. Moore, GA. As the ATOC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of training exercises and Operations within the complex. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and support critical training activities for law enforcement personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the ATOC, aligning them with organizational goals and training objectives.
- Supervise the scheduling and coordination of training exercises and Operations within the complex.
- Collaborate with training staff and external agencies to ensure smooth integration and execution of training activities.
- Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, to meet training requirements.
- Perform risk assessments and devise strategies to ensure personnel safety and the successful execution of training exercises.
- Evaluate and assess training performance, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up to date on emerging training technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance training effectiveness.
- Prepare and deliver reports, briefings, and presentations on ATOC activities, capabilities, and accomplishments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in law enforcement training operations, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- Thorough understanding of law enforcement training principles, techniques, and procedures.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with individuals at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Physical Demands: Some physical activities such as walking or standing for extended periods, moving around the complex to observe and supervise training activities, and occasionally participating in physical training exercises to assess performance and provide guidance. While the job does not involve heavy physical labor, a reasonable level of physical fitness and mobility is important to effectively carry out the duties of this position.
