***ANTICIPATED VACANCY***
Position will provide the Transportation Dr. Resident Engineer’s Office with general office and computer support for data entry relating to project records, SAP and HiCAMS. Position will be responsible for processing monthly and final estimates, checking calculations, resolving pay record and material quantity discrepancies, researching project documents, processing material prepayments, tracking DBE participation, assisting with project meetings, and tracking Technician Certifications to ensure they are kept current.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies
- Experience using computer programs such as Microsoft Office, SAP and HiCAMS.
- Experience completing and/or maintaining records and reports.
- Basic knowledge of mathematical functions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervisor and prioritize daily tasks.
- General knowledge of state and/or federal rules and regulations to determine compliance.
Ability to independently process technical information in an efficient manner. Knowledge of processing specific project data using complex computer programs. Knowledge of computer operations and office machinery. Ability to interpret and apply department policies and procedures to records and reports. Ability to present information clearly and concisely in oral and written form. Communicate, establish, and maintain working relationships with co-workers, contractors/vendors, and the public both in person and by telephone. Ability to manage/maintain multiple projects/deadlines. Operate State-owned vehicles. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO INDIVIDUALS THAT HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF SAP, HICAMS, AND DUTIES ASSOCIATED WITH A RESIDENT ENGINEER’S OFFICE.
