Position Summary:
The Warehouse Administrative Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing product shipments. Their duties include documentation associated with unloading delivery trucks and checking incoming shipments against product invoices, organizing, and storing shipments until they receive outgoing order requests and notifying management personnel when they do not have enough of a particular product to fulfill orders. This job incorporates both domestic and export shipments. This job also requires some travel between both the Fayetteville Works site warehouse and the nearby Elizabethtown warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Inventory/SAP:
- Perform Cycle Count Adjustments, investigate and follow-up on discrepancies
- Request Stores items/delivery through SAP transactions
- Properly accounting for location of incoming goods
- Assuring no damaged items are sent or received
- Verification of packing list
- Maintaining product inventory as products are received or shipped
Training:
- Create Tracking documents for all training programs at the site and track employee's training
- Compile Reports of employee training progress
- Create and upload training presentations into a Learning Management System (KAIU)
- Work with management to ensure no employee's training goes overdue
- Assist staff with scheduling and purchasing training sessions and classes
- Assist with all new hire orientation for the site
Administrative:
- Update & maintain Shift Rosters
- Update & maintain Shift Contact Lists and Schedules
- Coordinate/maintain database for record storage files at Iron Mountain. Coordinate shipping and receiving, files, as needed.
- Assist w/ management visits to the site
- Maintain/store supplies for office equipment and janitorial supplies
- Conduct Emergency Response/Fire Alarm Head count reporting for warehouse team
- Serve as main point of contact for all external and internal clients, vendors, and visitors.
- Responsible for all aspects of managing office supplies, U.S. Postal Services, Fed Ex and UPS.
- Serves as part of office emergency and/or safety team. Assist with site emergency situations.
- Responsible for scanning, copying, faxing, filing, mailing overnight/shipping as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clerical / administrative experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred skills:
- SAP experience (Work notifications, process transactions)
- MES and Visitrak experience
- Cycle counting experience
- Strong skills in keeping tasks, supplies and files organized
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a business environment
- Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
