Administrative Coordinator Medical Staff Services
Trellis Supportive Care is seeking an energetic and compassionate Administrative Coordinatorto support the Chief Medical Officer & the Medical Staff Services Team
The ideal candidate will:
- Have two (2) years of college or business school or the equivalent in experience
- Medical office or hospital administrative experience
- Promote positive team dynamics with exceptional interpersonal skills and flexibility
- Build harmonious working relationships
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy for patients, families and staff
- Communicate in clear, professional and courteous manner
- Respect differences in values, cultures and beliefs
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, with the ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, including correct grammar and punctuation usage
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Responsibilities Include:
- Assistance with presentations, slide decks, Power Point
- Writing/scribing and distribution on behalf of the Chief Medical Officer
- Schedule daily needs for Nurse Practitioners and Medical Providers
- Schedule weekend oncall for practitioners and providers
- Handle billing & invoicing
- Handle death certificate process & act as point of contact for State
- Manage credentialing for providers
- Coordinate activities for department, including scheduling & coordinating meetings, Zoom, Teams, and in-person
- Coordinate Med Student/Fellows rotations
- Assist with front desk telephone coverage
Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8a - 5p
