Administrative Coordinator Medical Staff Services

Trellis Supportive Care is seeking an energetic and compassionate Administrative Coordinatorto support the Chief Medical Officer & the Medical Staff Services Team

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have two (2) years of college or business school or the equivalent in experience
  • Medical office or hospital administrative experience
  • Promote positive team dynamics with exceptional interpersonal skills and flexibility
  • Build harmonious working relationships
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy for patients, families and staff
  • Communicate in clear, professional and courteous manner
  • Respect differences in values, cultures and beliefs
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, with the ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, including correct grammar and punctuation usage
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assistance with presentations, slide decks, Power Point
  • Writing/scribing and distribution on behalf of the Chief Medical Officer
  • Schedule daily needs for Nurse Practitioners and Medical Providers
  • Schedule weekend oncall for practitioners and providers
  • Handle billing & invoicing
  • Handle death certificate process & act as point of contact for State
  • Manage credentialing for providers
  • Coordinate activities for department, including scheduling & coordinating meetings, Zoom, Teams, and in-person
  • Coordinate Med Student/Fellows rotations
  • Assist with front desk telephone coverage

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8a - 5p
