Job Summary
Provide a full range of administrative support and coordination to the staff, committees, and membership of Valley United Presbyterian Church (VUPC)
Responsibilities
-Weekly preparation of worship bulletins and PowerPoints
-Prepare weekly e-newsletter as well as monthly church newsletter
-Manage church calendar
-Coordinate with committee chairs/groups
-Support congregation and committees in communicating information with Pastor
-Regular posts to church's Facebook page
-Maintain and update church website
-Write and send press releases in coordination with Pastor/committee chairpersons
-Support marketing efforts, i.e. placing ads, church brochure
-Church database maintenance
-General phone/reception duties
Qualifications
-Commitment to abide with, and be guided by the values, vision, and mission of VUPC
-Competency with MS Office products and Facebook
-Strong writing skills
-Willing to work independently and be self-motivated
-Ability to manage multiple projects in a timely fashion
-Outgoing and friendly phone and in-person skills
-Must be able to maintain confidentiality
-Experience in working with volunteers preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
