SalaryPiece By Piece: Neurobehavioral Services is a growing private practice involved in providing psychological/neuropsychological assessment, consultation, and therapeutic services to individuals across the lifespan. We are looking to hire an administrative assistant/scheduling specialist to help with the day-to-day operations of the office. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, and have strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. Thorough training will be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Checking in patients for appointments
- Scheduling appointments
- Taking and triaging phone messages
- Answering phone calls
- Maintaining patient records
- Filing patient records
- Receiving and sending faxes
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Ordering and maintaining office equipment
- Compliance with HIPPA regulations
- Any other administrative tasks deemed appropriate
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
- Individuals who have experienced in healthcare administration and/or in healthcare scheduling are encouraged to apply.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
