Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in project coordination, personal assistance, and general clerical duties. This role will involve supporting various administrative tasks and HR tasks ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling interviews, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Meet with newly hired employees to explain new hire paperwork to them. Make certain all forms are completed and signed and they have presented valid ID for copying.
- Complete bi-monthly payroll ensuring all timecards are entered and balanced
- Post and review job ads, setting up interviews and interviewing when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
