DJD Foundation owes its success to people and creative processes. An Administrative Assistant is the supportive force behind both, and we are currently seeking someone exceptional. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who has excellent communication skills and impeccable attention to detail, and has knowledge or aptitude to learn about the arts & humanities and military culture. This is a part-time position offering up to 30 hours per week is located in Reno, Nevada.
Objectives of this role
Support the goals of the interim administrator and leadership team at DJD Foundation.
Maintain workflow assisting coworkers and board members in standard operating procedures, such as using Google Workspace for scheduling, communications, and storage of files and information pertaining to accepted DJD Foundation policies & procedures
Coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflow
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to DJD Foundation Administration and leadership team, including email correspondence, newsletters, generation and distribution of memos, letters, spreadsheets, forms, and faxes;
Execution of accepted operational functions;
Plan, organize, and schedule company meetings in the office, off-site, and via videoconference;
Use social media channels to disseminate information; manage website updates;
Maintain filing system, contact database, employee list, and inventory;
Work closely with interim director to monitor and develop arts and humanities programming for veterans and the military-connected community;
Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability

Preferred skills and qualifications
Veteran or military-connected status
College degree or equivalent
Managing and leveraging social media platforms
Project Management
Previous experience in office work
