The Project Administrative Assistant follows established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective secretarial support to an office, business unit, department, or other organization. Answers telephones, screens calls, and takes messages so callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Project Administrative Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative / operational / customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.

CenterWell is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced – Project Administrative Assistant– who is interested in growing with the company and being a part of something great!

Location:  CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at:  Multiple clinical locations within the Las Vegas metropolitan area

Project Administrative Assistant Overview:

  • Provides day to day operations assistance to the Market President of a multi practice primary care organization
  • Transcribes, types, formats, and proofreads a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software
  • Coordinates internal and external meetings which may involve scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees, and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available
  • Manages the appointments and schedules of applicable staff. Uses office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes, and printers
  • Handles sensitive information confidentially
  • Additional responsibilities may include distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, filing, maintaining office supplies or other inventory
  • Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction
  • Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years administrative experience in a fast paced environment managing multiple priorities
  • Previous administrative or related experiences
  • Experience with internet research and proof reading/editing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to balance multiple initiatives and prioritize workload
  • Previous project management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum Associates Degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant in a clinical / medical office setting
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) preferred

Project Administrative Assistant Working hours:
Scheduled 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM
Local travel may be required; Mileage is reimbursed

You should anticipate this interview to take about 15 minutes. Your text interview will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.

 

Language Proficiency Testing:

Bilingual English/Spanish. Must be able to speak, read and write in both languages without limitations or assistance. See Additional Information on testing. ​  Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

 

$43,400 – $59,600 per year
