Arthur Murray Dance Center is seeking an administrative professional to provide full-time or part-time support to the studio team. We pride ourselves in creating a positive and fun atmosphere, so a balance of professionalism, passion and personality is necessary to keep up with the fast-pace environment. Ideal candidates will be self-starters, organized, and able to work afternoons and/or late evenings. The ability to multi-task while maintaining a can-do attitude is a must.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting and directing new students in a prompt and welcoming fashion.
- Answering incoming calls, taking messages and forwarding calls.
- Processing customer inquiries received in person, over the telephone, or by electronic communications.
- Maintaining awareness of instructors’ and executives’ schedules.
- Data entry.
- Processing payments.
- Creating and overseeing studio calendars.
- Assisting in miscellaneous administrative duties and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in similar role.
- Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills. Detail oriented a must!
- Proven ability to oversee business function and meet goals/deadlines.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Must be analytical and have excellent problem solving skills.
- Self-Starter with great organization and time management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Word and Excel.
