The Administrative Assistant is under general supervision and performs intermediate level administrative and office support activities. Duties include managing telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, filing, maintaining calendar(s) by scheduling and coordinating meetings; recording and processing meeting minutes and maintaining office and equipment supplies. At a minimum, must perform established Washington Health System Core Administrative Assistant Skills & Responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provides intermediate level administrative support including correspondence, filing, mail creating and formatting reports and calendar management.
- Serves as a point of contact for internal and external customers on matters pertaining to the department.
- Maintains systems for tracking, monitoring, analyzing, reporting or storing of business performance.
- Participates in specialized activities to support the department.
- Assumes a proactive approach to problems and issues.
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-2:30PM, no weekends or holidays!
Hours Per Week: 8 hours on average; while training could be working a minimum of 3 days per week initially
