SCOPE
Primary:
Support MS Superintendent, Routine and Improvement Facilitators, and departmental employees
Preparing, printing, posting, and distributing Melt Shop hourly schedules
Report and maintain all hourly training records
Review timecards for accuracy and completeness
Record, review, and track departmental hourly attendance
Secondary:
Provide Administrative support to entire Melt Shop department
Verify timecards against hourly schedule
Canvass and schedule vacations according to policy
Maintain all departmental employee records
Maintain office supplies
Responsible for following all safety policies and Cardinal Safety Rules
Responsible for housekeeping of work area
Training on and use of Kronos, PLEX, PBI program operations
TRAINING AND/OR BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
Proficiency in various computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

DIRECTLY: Melt Shop Superintendent
SAFETY RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES:
Track and maintain safety trainings for department
Observe and follow all general and departmental safety rules and regulations (inc. Cardinal Safety Rules)
ENVIRONMENTAL RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employee is expected to know, understand, and follow all applicable Federal, State, and Local environmental legal requirements and practices.
Responsible for and completing all required annual safety and environmental training (inc. fugitive dust).
Responsible for spill prevention, containment, response and clean up or assist in cleanup of material spills.
