Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a prominent and growing manufacturer in the Stokesdale, NC area. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team on 1st Shift.
The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of proven experience in a front desk or HR administrative role preferably within a manufacturing plant. . As a key support figure in our organization, the candidate will play a pivotal role in managing various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Visitor Management: Greet and direct visitors, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all guests to the manufacturing plant.
- Managerial Support: Assist managers with day-to-day tasks, providing administrative support to facilitate efficient workflow and operations.
- HR Functions: Contribute to general HR functions, including maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding processes, and supporting HR initiatives as needed.
- Purchasing: Take charge of purchasing office supplies, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring the availability of necessary resources for the plant's smooth functioning.
- Data Management: Utilize Excel and other relevant tools to manage and organize data, generate reports, and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a front desk or HR administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software applications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
