Hourly Rate: $20.60-$24.12
Annual Salary: $42,848.00-$50,169.60
Position Summary:
Seeking a full-time Admin Assistant II for our Behavioral Health Program in Vancouver, Washington. The Administrative Assistant II works under the direction of the Chief Behavioral Health Officer, the Behavioral Health Executive Assistant, MAT Director, and other managers performing clerical and administrative duties. The Administrative Assistant works directly with the Executive Assistant and receives daily assignments from the EA who guides and monitors the Admin assistant's work.
The successful candidate will be mission driven and will be an example-setting, dedicated professional, solution-based problem solver, knowledgeable resource, effective communicator and community-minded advocate. Will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties. Will also be tracking budgets of various contracts, expense reporting, contract management, new hire processing, executive support, and coordination of ongoing tasks and projects. The Admin Assistant must have the ability to compose correspondence, memos and reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for upkeep and organization of all administrative files.
- Maintains and updates personnel files.
- Composes and distributes letters, memos, and notices. Compiles information and prepares reports.
- Tracks and obtains signatures on all payroll authorizations.
- Reviews and processes all check requests and checks.
- Processes all incoming and outgoing interoffice and postal mail.
- Supports data tracking for employee retention and recruitment funding.
- Supports data management for the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program.
- Supports data collection and reporting on quality improvement measures.
- Answers and directs incoming calls for the Chief Behavioral Health Officer.
- Supports manager meetings as necessary.
- Good verbal and written abilities, clerical ability to compile, interpret and utilize information. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff.
- Copies, collates, and distributes important material to appropriate parties. Performs a variety of other clerical duties as requested.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision, use good judgment, maintain confidentiality, and prioritize workload.
Qualifications include:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Three years office experience, preferably in treatment/social service setting.
- The person in this position must be able to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must have good organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be self-motivated.
- Must demonstrate professionalism and appropriate boundaries in the workplace.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Typing at 50 WPM is required.
