Job Description:

As an Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representative at Charleston Engagement Rings, you will be a vital part of our team, providing exceptional support to our staff and clients. Your role will be a blend of administrative duties and Customer Service responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of our business and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer facing responsibilities such as greeting clients, answering phones, and handling inquiries.

  • Provide excellent Customer Service, both in-person and over the phone, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for staff and clients.

  • Support sales and design teams with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.

  • Handle client correspondence and follow-up communications.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and maintain inventory records.

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of promotional events and initiatives.

  • Uphold the company's values and standards in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is a plus.

  • Proven experience in an administrative or Customer Service role.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Ability to work both independently, as well as collaborating as part of a team.

  • Must be able to be self-disciplined

  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings as needed.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM systems.

  • Strong work ethic

  • A positive attitude and a team player mindset.

  • Basic understanding of numbers and accounting principles.

  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar software is a plus.

  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence is a plus.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Must be creative, a forward thinker, and able to anticipate needs and take initiative.

  • Must be able to respond quickly and manage variable work hours.

  • Must be based in or near Charleston, SC.
