Job Description:
As an Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representative at Charleston Engagement Rings, you will be a vital part of our team, providing exceptional support to our staff and clients. Your role will be a blend of administrative duties and Customer Service responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of our business and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage customer facing responsibilities such as greeting clients, answering phones, and handling inquiries.
Provide excellent Customer Service, both in-person and over the phone, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for staff and clients.
Support sales and design teams with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
Handle client correspondence and follow-up communications.
Coordinate with suppliers and maintain inventory records.
Contribute to the planning and execution of promotional events and initiatives.
Uphold the company's values and standards in all interactions.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is a plus.
Proven experience in an administrative or Customer Service role.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work both independently, as well as collaborating as part of a team.
Must be able to be self-disciplined
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings as needed.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM systems.
Strong work ethic
A positive attitude and a team player mindset.
Basic understanding of numbers and accounting principles.
Experience with QuickBooks or similar software is a plus.
Experience with Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
Valid driver's license.
Must be creative, a forward thinker, and able to anticipate needs and take initiative.
Must be able to respond quickly and manage variable work hours.
