Steve Silver Company is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global Furniture industry. Our sales staff is made up of experienced leaders with 2-4 years of office experience and 2-4 years of experience as a sales staff member. We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our Forney, TX location.
Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Maintain product knowledge by reading technical journals, technical literature, and customer related correspondence.
- Act as the liaison between the manufacturing and customer sides of the business.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Serve as the primary contact for new business development opportunities.
- Develops and maintains a positive business relationship with customers by following up on all leads provided by the company and prepared by the purchasing department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- The ability to build and maintain positive business relationships is a must, as well as the ability to communicate information effectively in writing and in person.
- Must possess strong organizational skills, be able to work independently, and possess excellent attention to detail.
Salary: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
