Job Description
Position Purpose:
To support the Financial Advisors and Management Team with effective teamwork and taking consideration of deadlines while providing administrative skills and talents with the goal of growing with Civista Bank. Demonstrates Civista Bank’s mission to improve the financial lives of our employees and shareholders, to make a difference in the communities that we serve.
Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Provide daily administrative support to internal Financial Consultants to establish new relationships with Civista Wealth Management.
- Provide daily administrative support to Civista Wealth Management clients to meet ongoing relationship building expectations.
- Facilitate monthly audits of Civista Wealth Management accounts to meet the compliance expectation of annual account reviews.
- Monthly dedication to personal development to enhance the understanding of current compliance initiatives.
- All other duties as assigned and any activities that support the key accountabilities.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise with the Microsoft Office Suite of products and general computer skills.
- The candidate should be a self-starter and communicate effectively.
- Experience of 1+ years in the trust, brokerage, investment or accounting fields are a plus.
- Candidate must be organized and efficient, possess acute listening skills maintain extreme focus to detail and accuracy and execute directions precisely.
- The ability to build appropriate rapport and relate well to people is crucial.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
- Work involves eye strain due to the constant use of computer screens, reading of reports and so forth.
- Work involves being able to concentrate on the matter at hand, under sometimes distracting work conditions.
- Work involves ability to read, hear, write, and communicate professionally both in person and via telephone.
- Work involves some travel to attend meetings, training, and so forth.
