Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Manage calendars and arrange conference calls
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Assist with project coordination and follow up on action items
- Perform data entry and maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Provide general administrative support to staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Experience in a medical office setting is a plus
