Composes, compiles and prepare a variety of documents such as correspondence for faculty, staff, administrative specialist/assistant, Deans, HR (faculty credit/contact roster), students, and State Technical System; Memoranda, minutes, course schedule and reports, College Catalog and Student Handbook, Advisory Committee, Deans Council, Curriculum Review Committee, Program Review cycle, Academic Management Team, Academic Misconduct, Student Complaints, Faculty Handbook, Adjunct Handbook, academic calendar schedules (fall, spring, and summer), course roll schedule for each semester, Deans Council agenda, Faculty agenda, Adjunct agenda, memo for new program for presentation to Area Commission, reports (i.e., ARGOS reports), 3B, advisor list, and prepares dean's list of participants, charts, promotional materials (Career Program booklet), and minutes into final acceptable format; completes reprographic requests (print materials or documents); makes independent decisions about completion and distribution of documents deemed necessary from VP for Academic Affairs. Creates notebooks and files (Curriculum Review Committee, Academic Management Team, Deans Council, Advisory Committee, and Faculty Meeting). Schedules appointments for VP with students, HR (interviews), faculty and staff, and external entity; coordinates schedules and messages via telephone and walk-in visitors; inform VP of any calendar entries; works with the students, faculty, and staff as a public relations liaison for the Vice President for Academic Affairs and directs students to appropriate resources; organize room reservations and room setup requests for AMT, faculty, and adjunct meetings; processes purchase orders, travel arrangements, car reservations, and work orders.A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment.
