POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead, Global ALS Marketing is a critical member of the Global Marketing team and will play a significant role in the support of the ALS global strategy both from a disease and product perspective. Responsible for actively contributing to the development of the global brand strategy and for leading the development and execution of the tactical plan in support of the global brand strategy. The individual will serve as the point of contact with the markets/regions and commercial cross-functional team on tactics and execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Head of ALS Global Marketing in brand planning by liaising with agencies and with Amylyx cross functional partners, ensuring tactics make sense and are organized
- Develop and update global specific tactics such as core visual aid, launch playbook, message platforms, unbranded campaign that align with strategic imperatives and priorities
- Supporting global meetings (twice a year) and ensuring global affiliates have an understanding of best practices from launched countries
- Manage global asset library with most up to date materials for country use
- Content owner in Veeva for global specific materials that need MLR approval as well as represent team in MLR meetings
- Create and be owner of global dashboard intended to capture region specific activities to allow at-a-glance views of status around key initiatives
- Support in market insights and pull through in appropriate global tactics
- Partner with country marketing teams to ensure key tactics are being pulled through as well as branding and messaging
- Support international congress planning and lead all congress activities
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years global communication and/or marketing experience, preferably at a biotech, pharmaceutical company, or pharma agency
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA optional
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint, word, and excel
- Proficiency in developing global marketing strategy and tactical plan with an ability to communicate ideas to internal partners and external agencies
- Ability to lead without authority and influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment across key stakeholders
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment with the ability to prioritize efforts and manage stakeholder expectations with effective communication, problem-solving, and negotiation/decision-making skills
- Natural entrepreneurial spirit with a strong personal drive and the desire to evolve as the company evolves
- Role will travel to select global meetings, conferences and domestic travel as needed. On occasion there will be a need to be in the office for in-person sessions and meetings
