Principle functions:
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence and respond independently as directed.
- Schedule private music lessons and group classes which includes reserving teaching rooms for the faculty members, organizing trial lessons and coordinating communication between faculty and students for first lessons.
- Coordinate school room usage schedule.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of TBMA student policies and be prepared to answer questions independently for parents and students.
- Arrange programs, recitals, and other events including booking venues, equipment, caterer, or other arrangements as needed.
- Prepare enrollment packages for new students.
- Prepare and deliver monthly digital invoices to students.
- Produce and distribute all month-end accounts receivable reports.
- Send past due notices to customers, as directed.
- Record all payments received and post to student accounts.
- Maintain office supply inventory and order supplies.
- File school records and student documents.
Qualifications:
- Related college degree or equivalent administrative assistance experience in a fast-paced organization.
- Proficient computer, typing, and technology skills.
- Telephone etiquette – professional, friendly speaking voice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and a team player.
- A natural “people-person.”
- Must be punctual and reliable.
