Human Resource Assistant
Quality One Woodwork is seeking an HR Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities include staffing and/or recruiting, safety compliance and worker’s compensation reporting. This detail-oriented individual should possess excellent organizational skills, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to work independently.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Recruit, interview and onboard staff for production and support positions
- Maintain and update employee records
- Maintain applicant tracking system
- Facilitate timely performance evaluations and training throughout the organization
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly employee communications relating to safety and HR
- Facilitate company wellness program
- Properly address employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Consult with HR management to develop solutions to issues and participate in functional projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc)
- Conduct routine audits to ensure accuracy of data, correct discrepancies and/or missing data
- Partner with HR manager to ensure compliance with government reporting obligations to EEO, OSHA, etc.
- Review existing HR and safety policies. Provide updates/suggestions to HR Manager
- Adhere to all Company rules and policies
- Foreign language skills a plus
- Other duties as assigned

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS, preferably ADP.
- Ability to prepare professional presentations via various media formats
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate levels of wood dust and noise
- Ability to walk/stand/bend/twist/kneel occasionally. Primarily sedentary position.
- Ability to lift/carry/move 25 lbs
- 2+ years of proven experience in human resources, staff assistant or related field
WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time on-site position. Work hours generally include daytime Monday-Friday. Ability to travel to Ellsworth, WI. in personal vehicle (minimum, once weekly)

RATE OF PAY BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS: $27- $30/hour
