Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing packages for the purposes of onboarding new employees and employee departures
- Supporting the processes of routing forms to the appropriate leadership, making sure forms have the right signatures and are being routed to the right places
- Coordinating meetings, including Microsoft Teams, working with staff to solicit and finalize an agenda, distributing materials for the meeting, and uploading Teams attendance reports for attendance tracking
- Assisting in budgetary matters such as travel, tracking expenditures, supplies review and ordering
- Providing administrative support to prepare and disseminate communications, including agency-wide email communications support
- Assisting in the coordination of work planning activities, such as providing administrative support to groups, coordinating with staff to keep work tracking and report proposal queues up to date, etc.
- Managing, editing, and updating SharePoint site content in coordination with staff
- Supporting the tracking of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) training activities and credits for staff
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Familiarity with Federal Travel Regulations and the federal travel system Concur
- Associate's degree
- 5+ years of experience in corporate or federal government agency environment, providing administrative support
- Proven working experience as an Administrative Assistant
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Access
- Experience with the Office 365 platform
- Experience with Skype for Broadcast
- Experience with timekeeping and federal timekeeping regulations
- Experience working with SharePoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment that shift priorities quickly
- Attention to grammar, syntax, spelling, and punctuation
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to apply that to complex document-routing processes
- Experience in using electronic document tracking systems or other complex databases
Work Setting and Environment:
- Monday - Friday, normal working hours
- Work is to be performed remotely
