Accounts Receivable Manager
Novato, Hybrid Schedule
$85,000 to $95,000 annually
We are partnering with a well-established organization who seeks an Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee the AR function for the organization and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable department. This role is responsible for executing the strategic goals of the Accounts Receivable cycle through management, maintenance, implementation and design of all Accounts Receivable business procedures, functions, and the entire collections process. This is a fast-paced multi-faceted role that comes with a great benefits package.
Main Functions Include:
- Communicate and explain work procedures to Accounts Receivable staff.
- Assist with cash forecasting financial planning.
- Assist controller with monthly status reports and monthly closings.
- Manage collection activities such as negotiating with past due accounts including referring to collection agencies.
- Ensure accuracy of collections and chargebacks coding to the general ledger.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Assess credit worthiness of potential new accounts as well as existing accounts.
Ideal qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum 5-10 years in similar role or equivalent experience preferred.
Hands on inventory-based ERP software experience and intermediate Excel preferred
