Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are looking for an energetic individual who possesses excellent customer service skills to add to our accounting department. This role works directly with our CFO and has ample room for growth outside of the below tasks. The primary responsibilities of the AR role include the following:

• Consistently performing all day-to-day processing of new accounts and incoming payments
• Maintaining compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Preparing invoices, bank deposits and liens
• Communicating with foreman and field supervisors regarding job progress as related to contracted billing structure.
• Communicating with permit department
• Scrutinizing and verifying any discrepancies within the system
• Communicating with customers regarding job status, payment collection as well as resolving any billing issues
• Generating financial statements and reports clearly detailing Accounts Receivable status

The skills required for the position include:

• Experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk with proven success in that role
• Meticulously accurate abilities to calculate, post, and manage necessary accounting figures and financial records
• Investigative accounting
• Detail-oriented computation and organization skills
• Exceptional data entry skills and aptitude for working with numbers
• Significant, first-hand experience operating spreadsheets and accounting software
• Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in MS Office and general computer knowledge
• Well versed in customer service and negotiation
• Highly detail-oriented thinking and proven accuracy
