Engineering Company located in Eatontown, NJ
· Time and Material Billing, Fee Billing, as well as Contract Based billing.
· Matching Customer PO’s to current invoices.
· Maintain Excel spreadsheets with client billing information.
· Maintaining Job and Project databases and billing tables and updating information as needed.
· Communicating with clients and customers regarding outstanding balances and providing AR statements and invoices.
· Posting Cash Receipts and accurately recording them in the system.
· Updating client accounts based on payment or contact information.
· Other reports as required by management.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST PHYSCIAL DEMANDS
Primary cognitive skills (reading, learning, remembering, logical reasoning and paying attention) are essential to conduct the array of financial transactions that are part of the job.
Good reasoning ability is important. Able to understand and utilize accounting reports and legal documents to conduct business.
Ability to communicate orally with vendors, management, and other co-workers. Regular use of the telephone, computer (via Microsoft Teams) and e-mail for communication.
Sitting for extended periods. Hearing, vision, and speaking within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
No heavy lifting is expected. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculators, copiers, and FAX machines.
Salary - $30 -32 (hourly) depending on experience.
Approximately 30 hours per week with full benefits
