Responsibilities:
This person is responsible for managing receivables for a specific set of customers.
Processes payments and monitors customer accounts for aging.
Individual conducts research on various web portals in order to locate deduction documents pertaining to trade spending.
Then follow up with external contacts as needed in order to obtain sufficient documentation to reconcile trade spending.
Processes deductions and reconciles them.
Challenges unauthorized deductions from a person's income.
Makes calls to past due account holders.
The employee follows all company policies and procedures, and operates all equipment in a safe manner.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable, collections, and customer service processes.
This individual has a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and is especially proficient in Excel.
Strong communication and organization skills are a valuable asset for any job.
Must be detail-oriented, inquisitive, proactive, and flexible.
The ability to enter a lot of data quickly and accurately.
You need to be able to multi-task and focus on multiple tasks simultaneously in order to meet deadlines.
Being able to work independently and as part of a team is desirable.
This individual demonstrates respect for their team by working collaboratively and being responsible.
They also exhibit determination by continuing to work even when faced with obstacles.
The ability to work in an environment where potential food allergens are present.
Experience:
2 to 5 years of business, accounting, or finance experience.
4 year degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred.
Employment Type: Direct Hire, onsite
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday
(40 hours per week)
Compensation: $25-$35/hour
