JOB TITLE: Accounts Receivable

SUMMARY: Provides support to the Accounts Receivable department and performs Accounts Receivable functions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares daily bank deposits; reviews for accuracy.
- Applies payments to outstanding invoices in a timely manner.
- Maintains timely and accurate collections of Accounts Receivable balances; ensures timely posting of cash receipts.
- Monitors and maintains Accounts Receivable aging.
- Assists with Accounts Receivable process through correspondence and collection calls as directed.
- Audits delinquent accounts; monitors and manages efforts being taken before assigning bad debt status.
- Interfaces with appropriate personnel and managers to exchange information and update account records.
- Reconciles customer accounts.
- Create new customer accounts, and maintaining resale permits and farmer’s exempt certificates.
- Maintains Accounts Receivable files.
- Assist with answering phones, directing calls, and providing quality customer service.
- Prepares and presents Accounts Receivable reports as required.
- Assists with related special projects as needed.
- Cross train; receiving equipment inventory units into system assigning tag numbers, processing equipment sales invoices, process equipment sales credit applications, equipment inventory audits.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bookkeeping/Accounting experience or education desired.
- Work with Microsoft Word and Excel, and navigate Dealership Business Software.
- 10-key by touch.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Continually required to sit, with option for standing desktop
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
