The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialistto review and process vendor invoices to ensure correct and timely payment. This position is onsite Monday-Friday in our Virginia Beach Corporate Headquarters.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 2+ years working knowledge of Accounts Payable practices and procedures
- Knowledge of basic accounting and Accounts Payable procedures
- Proficient in MS Office to include Excel spreadsheets and ability to learn new software
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of management, staff and outside public
- Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail
- Self-starter with ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and be an effective member of a team
- Flexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
