The Opportunity:
As a professional in Business Services, you have the experience and skills to ensure our Delivery Hub operations are effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients. You know how to interface with internal and external customers and leadership to understand needs and gain insight on Business Services performance.
As a member of the AP Operational team, you will perform administrative, processing, training and auditing responsibilities, including payment handling, account review and adjustments, bank and cash account reconciliation, bank and cash account reconciliation, supplier contact and support, SOX auditing assistance, supplier onboarding assistance, system training and testing, and ePayables setup and processing. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
How You’ll Contribute:
Execute daily check runs.
Address bank cancels, including GL and ACH rejections.
Resolve AP open and deferred items.
Address outstanding checks and determine action.
Assist in the SOX L9 reconciliation and approver audits.
Support external and internal audit teams during SOX walkthroughs.
Handle incoming cash items from the cash receipt module.
Audit air refunds, tuition advances, bonuses, and relocations.
Assist with Transcepta onboarding and troubleshooting.
Promote and assist with portal adoption.
Take part in system implementations and verifications.
Set up ePayables payments and reconcile associated accounts.
Process payments through Pay.gov where applicable.
Manage, scan, and track emails in the invoicing mailbox.
Receive, code, and scan paper invoices, ensuring retention compliance.
Manage operational projects, including the execution of daily check runs, and coordinate with Treasury to ensure process integrity.
Lead the annual 1099 reporting process, including data review and coordination with third-party services for filing and compliance.
Provide strategic program management for AP-related initiatives, ensuring project milestones are met and align with the organization's financial goals.
Conduct SOX L9 reconciliation and audits, ensuring that all transactions meet the highest standards of internal financial control.
Drive the adoption of electronic invoicing and payment solutions such as Transcepta, CXML, and E-Payables, enhancing the efficiency of the payment process.

You Have:
- 2+ years of experience with financial operations and project management, including in an Accounts Payable context
- Experience with using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with GL reconciliations and Accounts Payable tasks
- Experience in executing daily financial transactions with precision and governance
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation and related software tools
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and auditing processes
- Ability to support thorough audits
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with financial systems, including Costpoint, Concur, Ivalua, and Oversight
- Experience with FAR and DFARS regulations
- Knowledge of E-Payables platforms
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently internally and externally
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt accordingly
- Ability to follow instructions and pay strict attention to detail
- Ability to think analytically and solve problems

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
