Accounts Payable Coordinator

Job Description
This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home.
The Accounts Payable Coordinator provides accounting professional and management support for general financial accounting activities for the organization. The incumbent will assist and monitor processes and procedures related to accounting tasks and enterprise policies.

What you do

• Monitor shared inbox to review and enter incoming invoices.
• Review and approve corporate credit card expense reports.
• Payment of check, ACH, credit card, wire, etc. on daily payment registers.
• Cross training across other AP processes.
• Recommends decisions related to their assigned workflow.
• Handles inquiries relating to customer situations.
• Suggests and documents improvements to existing processes and solutions.
• Prepares and processes journal entries as applicable.
• Additional duties as required.

What you bring

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of related experience required. Previous Accounting or AP experience preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook experience.
• Oracle and/or Peoplesoft experience is a plus.
