Ag Processing, Inc. (AGP) has an excellent opportunity at our West Omaha office for an Accounts Payable Manager in the Corporate Accounts Payable department.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable leader looking for a rewarding position with an excellent company.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the corporate Accounts Payable function that pays all company expenses by managing invoice preparation and completing reports.
• Manage corporate Accounts Payable staff.
• Manage the operational and accounting functions of Accounts Payable.
• Maintain electronic payment records in bank system.
• Interact and communicate with satellite location personnel and management personnel.
• Work with employees as the Oracle Accounts Payable Module Administrator and Purchasing Card Administrator
• Direct the production and issuance of Accounts Payable checks and electronic transfers to bank accounts.
• Comply with and maintain federal, state, and local legal requirements and laws include W9’s, W8’s and 1099’s.
• Maintains Accounts Payable guidelines by writing and updating Accounts Payable policies and procedures.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have a strong Accounts Payable operational background to include:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounts Payable.
• 7+ years Accounts Payable experience with 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong analytical and technical Accounts Payable operational knowledge and skills, as well as diligence.
• Content management experience and Oracle financial system experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to resolve conflicts with individuals and groups both inside and outside the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel and Word).
• Experience in general ledger and account reconciliations.
• Ability to make sound business judgments in resolving personnel issues and solving more complex Accounts Payable issues.
• Flexibility, multi-tasking, creative thinking, good business judgment, strong organizational and communication skills are required to meet deadlines and manage various Accounts Payable projects and tasks.
