```Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial obligations by processing and reconciling invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining vendor relationships. This is a vital role within our organization, and we are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities: - Process and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies - Review and verify invoices for proper coding, approvals, and documentation - Prepare and process payments to vendors, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers - Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the accounting system - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues - Assist with month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable - Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any invoice or payment-related inquiries - Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations Skills: - Strong knowledge of debits and credits - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, or Workday - Familiarity with general ledger accounting principles - Excellent 10-key typing skills for data entry accuracy - Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations - Ability to effectively communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders - Knowledge of ADP or other payroll systems is a plus - Experience in benefits administration is a plus If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a strong background in Accounts Payable, we encourage you to apply.
