Insero Talent Solutions is recruiting an AP Coordinator for an exclusive real estate investment company in Rochester, NY.
Accounts Payable Function
Review and process invoices, check/transfer/wire requests and expense reports
Match invoices to checks/letters of authorization and prepare checks/letters of authorization/bank transactions for review/signature
Coordinate the bi-weekly payment cycle within accounting software
Coordinate mailing/distribution of checks and submitting letters of authorization and input of bank transactions to financial institutions
Maintenance of internal transfers/wires spreadsheet including comparison to external reports for completeness and accuracy
Input vendor information in accounting software for review
Ensure vendor invoices are paid timely, properly authorized and in accordance with terms
Prepare vendor account balances/reconciliation as needed
Communicate with vendors regarding inquiries and to resolve issues as needed
Maintain check registers for multiple entities
Assist with preparation and coordination of documents required by the internal accounting/finance team and external advisors
Electronic filing of documents, including uploading documents to SharePoint to share with external advisors
Assist with any special projects that may arise
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Required Skills/Abilities:
Self-starter with excellent organizational, written and verbal skills
Excellent computer skills, attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
Able to multi-task, prioritize and be comfortable in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
Independent worker, who is not hesitant to ask for direction when required
Solid work ethic; professional and proactive approach to work; positive, confident, committed
Able to maintain confidentiality of matters
Must be proficient in Excel; experience with AP module in accounting system software preferred
Must be able to be in the office a minimum of two days per week
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
Experience with Bank of America CashPro a plus
Compensation $50,000-60,000
