Job Summary:The ideal candidate will be responsible for invoicing, payments and all other payable functions. Summary of Essential Job Duties:

• Lead and own all aspects of Accounts Payable
• Complete full cycle Accounts Payable processing, including receiving and verifying invoices against contracts and purchase orders, obtaining authorization, matching, coding & posting vendor invoices and processing payments.
• Record credit card transactions and reconcile it with a monthly statement.
• Record expense reports and request payment
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow-up on past due payables for approval / resolving issues.
• Correspond with vendors for invoice discrepancies. Have invoices revised or receive credits; respond to other inquiries.
• Undertake projects in the Finance Department as assigned and participate fully in year-end audit activities.

  • Cross-train on A/R Activities
  • All other duties as assigned. Abilities Required:
    • Strong decision making skills
    • Experience navigating and communicating with all levels of management
    • Previous experience and/or interest in managing and leading a team in the future Requirements and Competencies: Language Skills:
      • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial documents and respond accordingly. Mathematical Skills:
        • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts. Educational Requirements:
          • Associate's degree in Accounting preferred
            • 3+ years' experience with payroll and accounts receivable & Accounts Payable
            • Epicor and ADP Workforce Now experience a plus Additional Requirements:

                • Professional office environment with routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machine; noise level typical of a standard office environment
                • Prolonged sitting, computer and telephone use, as well as standing, filing, bending, reaching and lifting and carrying up to 15 pounds
                • Occasional exposure to manufacturing plant floor requiring the use of personal protective equipment (ear plugs, safety glasses, etc.)
