Position Overview:
We are seeing an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team in. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable process, including accurately processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and creating reports. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, along with strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing:
- Accurately process and code a high volume of invoices in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Vendor Management:
- Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related inquiries.
- Maintain positive relationships with key suppliers.
- Payment Processing:
- Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs.
- Reconcile payments and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.
- Expense Reporting:
- Review and process employee expense reports.
- Verify receipts and compliance with company policies.
- Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile Accounts Payable transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Month-end Closing:
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting.
- Generate financial reports related to Accounts Payable as needed.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
